Whom do we write to?
A letter to the headmaster, to the principal of a college or an institution, to an Attorney, to an
editor or to other higher official authority, need to be written mentioning theirs posts, proper
addresses, proper salutations , subject, body, complementary closings and providing details
about applicant.
What are the different types of formal letters?
Inquiry letters. These letters are used to request more information about a product
or service
