  These characterise the ways people mentally represents themselves as
                              a person.
                            Example – He is a Muslim.


               Self refers to the

                                                           Totality of an individual’s conscious




                                                                        -  Experiences          with
                                                                        -   Ideas                 regard to
                                                                        -  Thoughts           himself/
                                                                        -  Feelings             herself




               Here, the experiences and ideas states the individual’s existence both at personal
               and at social levels.

               SELF AS SUBJECT AND SELF AS OBJECT.




                            Self as Subject                               Self as Object
