SUB TOPIC- Germination
LEARNING OBJECTIVE- To understand the process of germination and
identify the different stages a seed goes through as it grows into a plant.
DISCUSSION-
• Baby plants grow from seeds.
• Common types of seeds include mustard seeds, green lentils, kidney beans,
and chickpeas.
• Seeds need sunlight, air, soil, water, and space to grow.
• Start the germination process by soaking a few seeds overnight.
• Place the soaked seeds in the soil inside an earthen pot.
• Gently sprinkle water and place the pot in a sunny spot.
• The process by which a seed grows into a new plant is called germination.
• Activity: Seed Germination
• Observe and understand germination by planting soaked seeds in an
earthen pot filled with soil.
