2.    In the figure, l || m and a transversal t cut them. If ∠1: ∠2 = 2: 3, find the measure
                     of each of the marked angles.



















                     Solution:
                     It is given that ∠1: ∠2 = 2: 3
                     From the figure we know that ∠1 and ∠2 form a linear pair of angles

                     ∠1 + ∠2 = 180

                     2x + 3x = 180

                     5x = 180
                     x =  180 0

                     x = 36
                     By substituting the value of ‘x’ we get

                     ∠1 = 2x = 2 (36 ) = 72
