Inference:
1.The egg placed in the salt/ sugar water shrinks and the shrinking is due to movement
of water from the egg into highly concentrated salt/sugar solution.
2. The egg placed in the tap water swells, the swelling is due to the movement of water
from the beaker which is more dilute into the egg inside which the concentration of
water molecules is less.
Observation:
1.The egg placed in water swells up because of endosmosis.
2.The egg placed in salt solution shrinks due to exosmosis.
