Time Duration
As we know, time is used to show when an event happens. Time is also used to find
the duration of an event. This is known as Time duration. It is the time that passes
from the start of an event to its end.
Example I – Riya went to her grandma’s house at 8 O’ clock and return at 10 O’ clock.
How much time she spend?.
Solution: Starting time is 8 O’ clock and finishing time is 10 O’ clock. Therefore the
duration of time is 10 – 8 = 2 hours.
