Square and Rectangle
LEARNING OBJECTIVE - To name, identify and recognize different objects
related to square and rectangle shape.
DISCUSSION-
• Sing the shapes song.
• Identify different objects related to square and rectangular shapes around
them.
• To recognize and name some square objects such as chessboard, carrom
board, hanky etc.
• To recognize and name some rectangle objects such as door, pillow, mobile
phone, etc.
• Fold a square shape paper and introduce the new shape i.e. a rectangle.
• Activity- “My shape book”
• Make a puppy by folding square and rectangle cut-out.

2. How does the shape of a carrom board looks like?
