LIVER
Reddish brown in colour
It is the largest gland in the body.
Location:-Present on the right side of the upper abdomen.
Liver secretes a liquid called bile juice which is stored temporarily in the sac
called the gall bladder.
The bile plays an important part in the digestion of fats
Bile juice- It breaks down larger fat globules into smaller fat globules. This
process is called Emulsification

PANCREAS
• Location –below the stomach
• It secretes pancreatic juice and releases it into the small intestine.
• The enzymes present in the pancreatic juice and intestinal juice of small intestine
breakdown the starch, protein and fat into simple compounds.
