*Mode is the 2 measure of central tendency in statistics.
Mode-The observation, which occurs most frequently among the given observations
,i.e. the value of the observation having maximum frequency is called mode.
Example: Mode of the numbers 2, 3, 4, 4, 6, 6, 6, 6, 7 and 9 is 6 because it is the
repeated maximum number of time i.e.4times
Sometimes, it is possible that more than one value may have the same maximum
frequency.
In this case the data said to be multimodal.
Mode of Ungrouped Data
Example-1:Find the mode of the following data:
14, 25, 14, 28, 18, 17, 18, 14, 23, 22, 14, 18 by writing the data in the form of
frequency.
Solution:Writing the data in the form of frequency table
