Characters and Settings

Learning objective: - Students will be able to understand and identify

characters and settings.

Explanation: -

 There are basic five elements of a story (i) Character

(ii) Setting (iii) Plot (iv)Problem (v) Solution.

 A character is ahuman being, bird or animal who acts

in a story.

 A setting is the placewhere the story happens or

takes place.

 Character can be one or more than one. There is always a main

character if, characters are more than one.

Leaning outcome: - Students can understand and identify characters

and settings in any given story.
