• Swaminathan is convinced but thinks that the name will be confused with
Hobbs’ team (Marylebone Cricket Club) and they would be dragged to court
• They think of alternate names- Friends Eleven; Jumping Stars, Excelsior;
Champion Eleven.
• Then, Swaminathan asks if they need to pay tax to government to get their team
recognised and avoid duplicity of name.
• They decide to have two names to avoid this problem
• Rajam, Mani and Swaminathan meet to order sport equipment and write a
letter to Messers Bins ordering-
• Two Junior Willard Bats, wickets, 6 balls and other things
• Finally, the friends are seen arguing about the usage of the word ‘Dear’ as part
of the salutation in the beginning of the letter.
