                  3.  Basicity and acidity-

               Basicity of an acid is defined as the number of replaceable hydrogen atoms
               present in one molecule of an acid.

               Acidity of base is defined as the number of ionizable hydroxyl ions (OH-) present
               in one molecule of a base.
