Differentfarmers can have small or large farms on whichthey can use differentfarming
practices. The choice of farming practices woulddepend on the availability of
financialresources(money). Hence, production practices can
bedividedintodifferentlevels :
1. No-cost Production
2. Low-cost Production
3. High-cost Production
Nutrientmanagement :
Plants alsorequireinorganicelements for building their structure and
maintainingtheirmetabolic process. Theseinorganicelements are callednutrient.
There are 16 nutrientswhich are essential for plants as deficiency of
thesenutrientswill affect the physiologicalprocessess of plants such as growth,
development, reproduction and susceptibility to diseases.
