Green manure: It is prepared by cultivating fast growing green manure crops like

Sunhemp, Horse gram, Guar, Cow pea before sowing of seeds. The fast-growing crop

is then ploughed back under the soil. Green manure enriches the soil with nitrogen,

leaching.
