cell which can be viewed by us with unaided eye. The largest cell of human body is
Ovum, the smallest cell is the sperm and the longest cell is the nerve cell.

The size of a cell is related to the functions performed by it and it is not related to the
size of organisms. So,the size of cells in bigger animals is same as that in smaller
animals but the number of cells in bigger animals is more than that of smaller animals.

For example, the size of cells present in Elephants and Rats are same but the number
of cells is more in Elephants than that in Rats.

Single celled egg

When an egg is boiled, it’s shell is removed carefully and cut longitudinally:

 The white part which is visible is the albumin which gets solidified on boiling
(Stored food rich in protein).
 The yellow part is yolk which is the part of single cell.
