3.  Use  these  in  sentences  of  your  own.  You  can  exclude  the  words  you  have

                       already used in Chart 1
               So, what did you understand? Can you now define HOMOPHONES?

                     Definition:HOMOPHONES, are words that sound alike but differ in meaning. Sometimes,
                       homophones are even spelled and sound exactly the same but still have different meanings.
                     For example:


                       SENTENCE 1. Be careful around the figurines because they break easily.
                       SENTENCE 2. Press gently on the brake to slow the car down

                                   As a VERB – to separate into pieces as a result of a blow: ‘figurines
