Lizards and Crocodiles


                   -  They have four short legs , which they use for  crawling on the ground.

               Snakes

                       -Snakes do not have legs.


                       -they use scales on the underside of their bodies to move.


















               BEHAVIOURAL ADAPTATION

                       MIGRATION:

                      The  large-scale  movement  of animals from  one  place  to  another  in  order  to  escape  the

                       extreme  weather  conditions,  in  search  of  food  or  suitable  breeding  grounds  is  called
                       migration.

                     Certain animals travel great distances at a particular time of the year.

                       In Birds:


                     Birds living in extremely cold places fly long distances to warmer places in search of food
                   and shelter.

                     Example:  the Siberian cranes migrate to India every winter.

                     Once the winter is over, they fly back to their native place.
