  Many Terrestrial animals use their limbs to move.
                     Some of them have four limbs.

                     Two limbs in the front which are called front limb or forelimbs.
                     Two limbs in the back which are called Hind limbs.
                       Examples:-
                     Animals such as Elephant, Camels and Cows use all four Limbs to walk or run.
                     Humans use their Hind limbs or to move.
                     Kangaroos, the hind limbs are stronger and longer than forelimbs, which help them to hop.



















          b)Aerial Animals:
                   In birds :
                     The forelimbs are modified into wings which help them to fly.
                     The wings have feathers.
                     They have hollow bones which keep their body light .
                     They have streamlined body.
                     Their wings are attached to the breastbone with the help of strong muscles which help the

                       birds to fly.
                     Hind limbs in birds are in the form of claws, which help them to walk ,run and perch.
