IMPORTANCE OF PLANTS
•Plants are essential for the existence of life on earth.
They not only provide us food but also oxygen. All
living things need oxygen for breathing. We also
obtain many useful products from plants such as
wood, rubber and fibres for clothing. Thus, we
depend on plants in many ways.
•If the number of plants on earth decreases then the
amount of oxygen and food for animals would be
reduce, posing a threat to animal and human lives.
Therefore , along with animals and human beings,
plants too need to reproduce.
•We see different type of plants growing around us.
•These plants increase in no. by the process of
reproduction.
