1. Oxygen –Seeds need air to breathe. In air, oxygen is
present which an important and essential source of
energy required for seed growth.
2. Water -It helps to make the seed coat soft, which in turn,
enables the baby plant to break open the seed and come
out.
3. Sunlight –Warmth from sunlight helps the baby plant
present inside a seed to grow.
4. Temperature -for a seed to germinate, it requires a

moderate temperature of around 25-30 C.
