Sub-topic 2 : Measuring, drawing and naming a line segment:
Line segments have two end points.
Line segments have definite length so, they can be measured.
We need a ruler to measure the line segments.
Measuring line segments:
.Example 1: Measure the length of AB line segment.
Method
Place the edge of the ruler along the line segment AB, keeping the zero
centimetre mark on the ruler at the point A.
Read the mark on the ruler at the point B.
