Introduction:Multiplication is a repeated addition.

Example: 3 x 5 = 15, 3 times 5 =5 + 5 + 5 =15

**Term related to multiplication:

1. The number to be multiplied is called the multiplicand.
2. The number by which we multiply is called the multiplier.
3. The result of the multiplication is called the product.

Example: 45 x 2 =90, where 45 =multiplicand

2 = multiplier

90 = product

** MultiplicationFacts:

1. The product of two number s does not change even if we change the order of the
number.
Example: 4 x 3 =3 x 4 = 12
