Conversion of millilitres into litres
• To convert ml into l, we group ones, tens and hundreds digits. The
number thus formed is ml and the remaining part of the number is l.
Method-1 a) Convert 3290 ml into l and ml
3290 ml = 3 l 290 ml
(Ones, tens and hundreds together is ml and rest is l )
Method-2 b) Convert 5990 ml into l and ml
5990 ml = 5000 ml + 990 ml
= 5 l + 990 ml
= 5 l 990 ml
