• Soil that is made up of fine small particles is
known as clayey soil.
• Clay particles are closely packed.
• They can hold large amount of water.
• It has less air space for the plants to
breathe.
• It is found near river banks.
• It is sticky to touch so it mostly used to
make pots and toys.
