SANDY SOIL
• Soil that contains mainly sand is known as
sandy soil.
• Sand particles are mostly loose, grainy
particles.
• It cannot hold much water as there is a lot
of air space between sand particles.
• Plants do not grow well in sandy soil.
• It is mostly found in places like beaches,
deserts etc.
