Object Pronouns
The object of a verb is the person, animal or thing that receives
the action of the verb.
Dad sometimes helps me with my homework.
In this sentence the pronoun “me” is the
object of the verb “helps”.
Lisa likes cats. She likes to stroke them.
In the first sentence “Lisa” is the subject of the verb
“likes” where as the “cat” is the object of the same
verb.
In the second sentence the pronoun “them” is the
object of the verb “stroke”.
