What is Pronoun?

A pronoun is a word that takes the place of a noun in a

sentence.

It is often used to avoid repetition.

For example:

 This is my uncle. My uncle works in a bank. My uncle is my

neighbour too. My uncle is very friendly.

 This is my uncle. He works in a bank and my neighbour too. He is

also very friendly.
