P. 8

Learning outcome: Students were able to solve problems related to table
of 3, 4 and 6 and relate them in their day to day life.

               Lesson 5- Multiplication table of 7, 8 and 9

Learning objective: Students will be able to memorize the tables.

 Multiplication Tables are important to help us in multiplying.
 The symbol “X” indicates multiplication.

 Instead of adding a number over and over again, we can use
                   multiplication table.
                Multiplication Tables of 7,8 and 9

               7 x 1 = 7 8 x 1 = 8 9x 1 = 9
               7 x 2 = 14 8 x 2 = 16 9 x 2 =18
               7 x 3 = 21 8 x 3 = 24 9 x 3 = 27
               7 x 4 = 28 8 x 4 = 32 9 x 4 = 36
               7 x 5 = 35 8 x 5 = 40 9 x 5 = 45
               7 x 6 = 42 8 x 6 = 48 9 x 6 = 54

               7 x 7 = 49 8 x 7 = 56 9 x 7 = 63
               7 x 8 = 56 8 x 8 = 64 9 x 8 = 72
               7 x 9 = 63 8 x 9 = 72 9 x 9 = 81
               7 x 10=70 8 x 10 = 80 9 x 10 = 90

Learning outcome: Students were able to understand the importance of
tables in their daily life. They memorized the tables as it is the base for
               solving multiplication sums.

               Lesson 6 – Multiplication grid

Learning objective: Students will be able to interpret the multiplication grid
and derive the multiplication tables upto10 using multiplication grid.
