Milliliters
• We measure small quantities in
Millilitres.
• The short form of Millilitre is ‘ml’.
• Millilitre can also be written as milliliter.
Both the spellings are correct.
• Small quantities of a liquid such as
medicine, syrup, etc are measured in
milliliters. Thus Different liquid medicines
are measured in ml.
• A milliliter is a very small amount of
liquid.
• The word milliliter literally means one
thousandth ("milli") of a liter. More about
liters later!
