Example : Solve the following system of equations by Substitution method:
               2x + 3y = 10
               x - 2y = 5

               Solution: The given system of equations are
               2x + 3y = 10          (i)
               x - 2y = 5              (ii)
               From (ii), we get,
               x = 2y + 5             (iii)
               Putting this value of x in (i), we get,
               2(2y + 5) + 3y = 10.

                  7y = 10 - 10 = 0
                  y = 0
               Putting y = 0 in (iii), we get,
               x = 2 . 0 + 5
                  x = 5
               Hence, the solution is
               x = 5, y = 0

                 Example : Solve the following system of equations using the method of substitution:

               Solution: The given system of equations is
                                             (i)
                                             (ii)
               From Eq (i)  ,

               Substituting in Eq. (ii)

               Putting this value of y in (ii), we get,

                      -2x + 36 = 43
                                                              2
