Separation of a mixture of immiscible liquids

               Two immiscible liquids can be separated using a separating funnel. Liquids which have
               a difference in densities can be separated by this method.

               For example, we can separate a mixture of oil and water by using a separating funnel.
               Water being heavier remains at the bottom and oil which is lighter floats on the top.
