 Secondary Activities The milk is processed to make milk products like butter, cheese or

ghee.

 Tertiary Activities AMUL uses trucks, trains, planes and ships to distribute its products

to retail stores and other shops across Gujarat, as well as other states of India to

transport and sell its products. Here, transportation, trading and retail are tertiary

activities.

There are many other milk co-operative brands like AMUL. Some of them are Nandini from

Karnataka, Mother Dairy from Delhi- NCR, Aavin from Tamil Nadu, Sudha from Bihar, etc. There is a

co-operative named SEWA that supports women to become self-reliant.
