On the number line:
Numbers to the left are smaller
Numbers to the right are greater
Quick Trick
If all numbers are negative:
• Compare them without the minus sign
• Then reverse the order
Example:
Compare: -12, -45, -30
Ignore minus: 12, 45, 30 → Order: 12, 30, 45
Flip: -45, -30, -12
