Learning Objective: Children will be able to know about life cycle of
butterfly.
Explanation:
A butterfly is an insect that goes through an amazing transformation! It
starts off as an egg and ends as a beautiful butterfly. This process is
called metamorphosis.
The Four Stages of a Butterfly's Life Cycle:
1. Stage 1: The Egg
o The life cycle of a butterfly begins when a female
butterfly lays her eggs.
o These eggs are usually laid on leaves or plants.
o The egg is very small and round or oval, and it can be
different colours, like white, yellow, or green.
