            The Indian Government:


               •  India is a democracy. This means that the government is of the people, for the
                   people and by the people.


                   a.  Union Government
                   b.  State Government


               UNION GOVERNMENT:


               •  The government at the center is called the Union government.

               •  This makes laws for the whole country and deals with the issues of national

                   importance.


               •  Our Parliament consist of two houses-

             a.    Lok Sabha


             b.    Rajya Sabha
