which took away his powers. The
Caliphs were respected by the
muslims across the world.

The actions of the British made the
T h e a c t i o n s o f t h e B r i t i s h m a d e t h e
Muslims angry causing them to

organise protests.

They started Khilafat Movement

which demanded that the powers of
w h i c h d e m a n d e d t h a t t h e p o w e r s o f

the Caliph should be given back to

him.
