Jorasanko, in Kolkata.
• He won Nobel Prize for Literature.
• He wrote Gitanjali, a collection of
poems.
• He founded a school at Shantiniketan,
in West Bengal. It is now known as
the Visva Bharti University.
• The national anthem of India- Jana
Gana Mana was written by him.
