beam are actually these dust particles. It is hence advised by our elders

to breathe only through our nose and not our mouths so that the fine
hair and mucus in the nose is able to filter out these dust particles so
that we don’t inhale them and harm ourselves.

               PROPERTIES OF AIR

 Air is present everywhere around us but we cannot see it. We can only
feel its presence. Air also has certain properties.

                    Properties of air are:

                    1. Air occupies space.

                     For example:
                     1) When we blow air in a balloon, blowing

air in a balloon increases its size. It is
because air occupies space. As we blow
                         more air, balloon grows bigger.

                     2) When we first put a tumbler in a bucket half filled with water by
holding it upside down and pushing it in the bucket, water does not
enter the tumbler because there is in no space for the water to enter
as it is already filled with air. But when we tilt the tumbler, air escapes
in the form of bubbles, allowing water to enter.
