INTRODUCTION

 The two most important things without which we won’t be able to live are
air and water.

 The air is all around us in our environment, and we take it in when we
breathe.

 Water is important to us in many ways. It is used for bathing, drinking,
washing, cleaning, cooking etc.

AIR

 Besides food and water, air is also a very important element of our life.

 All living organisms breathe in air. They cannot survive without air for
more than a few minutes.
 Air is transparent and colourless. It occupies space and is present all
around us.

COMPOSITION OF AIR

 Air is a mixture of a number of gases and some other particles.
