• After some time, she again stopped to rest and

looked around to see if her treasure was safe; and

this time she saw nothing but a great lump of

iron!It did not stop at that. The iron piece later

turned into a stone.

• The woman was certain now that the big black pot

was haunted. A tremendous sense of fear filled her

heart, slowly tingling all through her body.

• She quickly bent over the big black pot to unfasten

her shawl, when— “Oh my!”All of a sudden, the

stone in the pot gave a jump , a squeal, and in one

moment was as big as a haystack.
