WATER CYCLE

• This process is driven by the sun.

• When the sun shines ,water from ponds, rivers,

lakes and seas evaporates and changes to water

vapour.

• The water vapour condenses to water droplets and

form clouds.

• When clouds pass through cooler air, they become

heavy. Eventually, they become so heavy that they

fall on land as rain ,which is called precipitation.

• The cycle of evaporation, condensation and

precipitation goes on continuously and is called

the water cycle.
