•About 70% of the surface of the Earth is
covered with water.
•It is found in rivers, lakes ,oceans and under
the ground.
•Water exists in all three states - solid, liquid
and gas.
• Evaporation and condensation are the two
processes that are constantly taking place in
the environment due to which water changes
its form and causes water cycle.
