STRUCTURE OF HEN’S EGG

• An egg has an outer hard protective covering called shell.

• Inside the shell a yellow portion is present at the centre, known as yolk.

• The yolk is surrounded by a clear white albumen or egg white.

• The growing baby inside the egg is known as embryo.
