NOTES:
A Prepositionis a part of speech that shows a relationship between two things. It expresses
the connection between noun and pronoun with its object in a sentence. The noun or
pronoun that follows a preposition is called the object of the Preposition.
PREPOSITION OF PLACE
It shows the place and position of objects, people and places. Some more preposition of places
are- in, on, under, above, between, beside, behind.
Prepositions of Place: at, in, on
In general, we use:
at for a POINT
in for an ENCLOSED SPACE
on for a SURFACE
