Observation:
1, The seed is covered by a seed coat.
2. The embryo consists of two large, white and kidney shaped cotyledons.
3. The cotyledons are attached laterally to the curved embryonal axis.
4, Plumule is the upper end of the embryonal axis and radicle is the lower end of the
embryonal axis.
Inference:
The embryo of the dicot seeds consists of three main parts- plumule, radicle and two
cotyledons.
