Explanation:


                          When we divide a number with another number the number

                            gets equally distributed.

                          In the division, remainder is a left over number which we

                            get after dividing two numbers.

                          Symbol of division-  ÷

                          Terms in division are

                                 Dividend- is the number that is being divided or

                                   distributed.

                                 Divisor- is the number by which the dividend  is to be

                                   divided.
                                 Quotient- is the answer after we divide one number

                                   by another.

                                 Remainder- is a left over number which we get after

                                   dividing two numbers.

                     Steps to divide-
                            arrange the numbers

                            count the multiplication table of the divisor

                            while you are counting the multiplication table stop when

                              you get the dividend

                            the number that is being multiplied to the divisor to get
                              the dividend is the quotient.

                            subtract the dividend and you get the remainder.
