                       correct.


                     We very well know that we will subtract the digits in

                       ones place and then subtract the digits under tens

                       place.


                     But in this example we have to subtract 7 from 2, so

                       here comes the concept of borrowing as we can’t take

                       away 7 from 2 as 2 is smaller than 7


                Lets learn how to do it-


                   Steps for subtraction with borrowing


                     Step 1- Write the number under tens and ones.


                     Step 2- Check if digit in the ones place of the minuend

                       is greater than the digit in the ones place of

                       subtrahend.


                           if the digit in the ones place of the minuend is
                              greater than the ones place of the subtrahend ,

                              we can subtract it easily.


                           if the digit in ones place of the minuend is less

                              than the digit in the ones place of the subtrahend,

                              then it is a subtraction with borrowing.
