Lesson 16.2- Addition with carry over :

Learning objectives: Children will learn to add double digit with
double digit with carry over.

 While adding, we take care of ones and tens

 Ones are added with ones and tens are added with tens.

 First, we arrange the numbers vertically.

 Then we add the numbers or digits in ones place , carry
the tens to the tens place.

 Finally, we add the numbers in the tens place tens with

the carry over number.

 Ex-1 28 +13= 41

 Here in this example first we added the numbers in
the ones place. 8+3=11
