The verbs used to for Simple Past Tense are of
two types:
• Regular Verbs
• Irregular Verbs
The majority of verbs are ‘Regular verbs’
which follow the same pattern and create the
past simple and the past participle using the
same word ending ‘-ed or -d’.
There are, however, verbs that have different
endings, and these are called ‘Irregular verbs.’
