Rule-4: Some words that end with ‘f’ or ‘fe’

have plurals that end with ‘ves’.

Example- shelf= shelves

life= lives

Rule-5: For words which end with ‘-ch’, ‘-sh’,

‘-s’, ‘-x’, ‘-ss’ add an ‘-es’ to make plural.

If there is consonant+‘o’, add an ‘-es’.

Example- dress - dresses

bench - benches

bush - bushes

grass - grasses

fox - foxes
